Hi, I’m Nicole, founder of Raleigh Mahjong Company.

My love for American Mahjong started with the game itself: the beautiful tiles, the strategy, and the rhythm of sitting down around a table to play. But somewhere along the way, I realized Mahjong was giving me something much bigger.

It was creating connection.

I watched people who barely knew each other become friends around a Mahjong table. I saw laughter, conversation, a little healthy competition, and the simple joy of having a place to show up and belong. I realized that learning Mahjong wasn’t just about learning a game. It was about creating opportunities for people to connect.

That became the foundation for Raleigh Mahjong Company.
